The outdoor compound
Room to park what will not fit in the driveway at home.
What we take
The compound is outdoor parking inside a fence. It suits boats on trailers, travel trailers, motorhomes, cars, pickup trucks, utility trailers and cargo trailers.
Every vehicle is a different length, so we do not sell the spaces by a fixed size. We look at what you are bringing, then set the space to fit it.
Getting a space
Call and tell us the type of vehicle and its length, including the trailer tongue if it is on a trailer. We will tell you what we have open and what it costs.

How the property is kept
The same security covers the compound, the containers and the indoor units.

A chain-link fence runs the perimeter of the property, and the yard is behind a gate.

You hold the only key
On a container or an indoor unit you put on your own padlock. Nobody here keeps a copy.
Somewhere for the gear
Most people who park a boat or a trailer here also need a dry spot for what comes off it.
The container unit
A container unit is 8×20 feet, which is 160 sq ft of floor, and stands 8 ft high. It sits on the ground, so there is no ramp and no step up. It is weatherproof, and you can drive right up to the door to load it.
Outboard motors, life jackets, water skis, canoe paddles, awnings, patio furniture and tools all keep well in one.
Indoor units
If you would rather be inside the building, the indoor units run from 5×10 up to 10×30, and every one of them has an extra-high 10 ft ceiling. That height helps with ladders, oars and anything stood on end.

Getting a boat or RV ready
A few jobs before you drop it off will save you trouble when you come back for it.
- Take the battery out, or at least disconnect it. Charge it first, then keep it somewhere dry and out of the cold.
- Deal with the fuel the way your engine maker says. Most owners top up the tank and add a fuel stabilizer so the fuel does not go stale.
- Drain every bit of water. That means the bilge, the live well, the fresh water tank, the water lines and the engine block. Water left in a line will freeze and split it.
- Check the tire pressure on the trailer, the motorhome and the spare before it is parked, because tires lose air while they sit.
- Put a proper cover on and tie it down tight. A loose cover flaps in the wind and holds pools of water.
- Clean the inside out and take all the food with you. Crumbs and open packets are what bring mice in.
- Leave a little air moving under the cover if you can, so moisture does not sit against the hull or the upholstery.

How do I know what size space to ask for?
You do not have to work it out. Tell us on the phone what the vehicle is and roughly how long it is, and we will match it to a space.
When can I get to my boat or trailer?
During our open hours, which are 7 days a week, 9 AM – 6 PM.
Do I bring my own lock?
Yes, for a container unit or an indoor unit. You supply the padlock and you keep the only key.
