Renting a unit
How renting works, and how we quote a price.
How do I rent a unit?
Call us at (705) 742-8897, or come to the office at 970 Highway 7 East in Peterborough. We will tell you what we have available, show you the size you are interested in, and rent it to you. We are open 7 days a week.
How much does a unit cost?
Rates are quoted by phone or in person, so you always get the current price for the size you want. We do not list rates on this website. Please call (705) 742-8897 for current rates.
What are your hours?
We are open 7 days a week, 9 AM – 6 PM. That includes Saturday and Sunday.
What size do I need?
The smallest indoor unit is 5×10, which is 50 sq ft. The largest indoor unit is 10×30, which is 300 sq ft. If you are not sure, call us and describe what you are putting away. We will tell you which size fits.
Sizes and access
What we have, how tall it is, and how you get to it.
What sizes do you have?
We have eight indoor sizes, from 5×10 up to 10×30. We also have container units and an outdoor compound for vehicles. The full list of indoor sizes is in the table below.
How high are the ceilings?
Every indoor unit has an extra-high ceiling of 10 ft, so you can stack higher and use the full space. Container units are 8 ft high.
Can I drive up to my unit?
Yes. We have drive-up access to the units, so you can park beside the door and carry your things straight in. Container units sit at ground level, with no step and no ramp.

Locks, security and rules
Who holds the key, how the property is protected, and what you may not store.
Who supplies the lock and key?
You do. You bring your own padlock and you keep the only key. We do not hold a key to your unit, so nobody else can open it.
How is the property secured?
The property has a chain-link perimeter fence and a gate, and there is video surveillance on the property.
Is there anything I may not store?
Yes. Please do not store flammable items in a unit, such as gasoline, propane or paint thinner. No food of any kind, including tinned and dry goods. No living things, which means no people, animals or plants. Nothing illegal. If you are not sure about an item, call us first and ask.
Can I store a boat, an RV, a car or a trailer?
Yes. We have an outdoor compound for vehicle parking, and it is fenced and gated. The space you need depends on the vehicle, so call (705) 742-8897 and tell us the length and the type.
Still have a question?
Call us and ask. We are on the north side of Highway 7, about 5 km east of George Street, just past Mark S. Burnham Park.
Not sure what size you need?
Call us and we will help you pick the right unit.
